Sooo….
I’m pretty sure when the rug is installed (tomorrow! eek! yipee!) that I will move to the basement. I have every intention of spending all of my time relaxing in it’s glory and staring at my gorgeous wall.
Is it bad that our ‘first floor’ (ahem, basement) is by far and away nicer than our upstairs? Yes? I thought so. Ho hum. Guess what that means?!? Kitchen remodel! Garage addition! Second floor addition! More blog posts to come!
I’m kidding.
Kind of.
Anyways, I can’t get over how excited I am for this darn rug to be installed. Am I a loser, or what? But with the completion of the basement comes the awareness of other projects, most notably our interior doors on the first floor. They are so bad. They don’t really latch closed. Worse than that, if an intruder got in our house (I think about this every day) they could easily break down the door with one finger. I kid you not. All they would have to do is scratch the door and the darn thing would fall over.
I smell many, many more projects in our future!
Stay tuned, for updates on the installation of Count Sisal (that’s what I’m calling the rug, duh).
